Courteney Cox had a very special day today as the actress rang in her 52nd birthday, and while receiving numerous well wishes from fans on social media, there was one post that was especially dear to the star's heart.
The Friends alum got a sweet shout-out from beau Johnny McDaid on Twitter! The Snow Patrol musician posted an adorable snapshot of the pair embracing each other, and wrote, "Wishing my beautiful @CourteneyCox the happiest birthday!"
Cox obviously caught wind of the heartwarming tweet, and responded to McDaid, "Thank you, my love!!" She also thanked fans who took time out of their day to send her birthday greetings. She wrote, "Huge thank you to all those to took the time to wish me a happy birthday. It's been a great one!"
The couple, who broke up and called off their engagement late last year, proved that they're an item once again when they stepped onto the red carpet together at the BMI Pop Awards in May.
Although that was not their first time out together since their split, their appearance definitely made a statement. When E! News asked McDaid if that was their way of making their reconciliation official, he told us, "Just look at us. I love her. I've always loved her," while Cox flashed a huge smile.
"They really care about each other and they are spending time together," Courteney's rep shared with E! News after photos of the Easter reunion surfaced.
