Kate Middleton, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Recycled Looks

Kate Middleton looked familiarly radiant in red at the annual Order of the Garter service on Monday.

The 34-year-old style icon paired a striking red button-down Catherine Walker & Co coat with a red Lord & Co hat and matching suede pumps to complete her head-to-toe scarlet look, and she was a vision as usual standing next to husband Prince William, who wore ceremonial robes for the occasion.

As a champion of recycled fashion, it should come as no surprise that the Duchess of Cambridge has worn the bold coat before. She was last spotted wearing it at the Calgary Zoo back in 2011 on a royal tour of Canada, and we can see why she brought it back! The memorable red coat is simply gorgeous and fits her figure perfectly.

In 2011 she paired the gorgeous topper with nude heels and a matching clutch, but this time opted for an all-red ensemble, which added a splash of color to the daytime proceedings.

This time around, she also accented the look with a diamond bracelet, a delicate silver necklace and Robinson Pelham teardrop diamond earrings, which were a wedding gift from her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton.

Rumors of rain made this the first Garter Service since 1971 in which the royal party and knights did not perform the traditional carriage procession and instead took cars to Windsor Castle for the ceremony.

But not even the gloomy weather could dampen the Duchess' spirits. She waved to onlookers and flashed a radiant smile as she exited her car.

Kate arrived with her mother-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who also wore a recycled look: a silk, champagne-colored dress by Anna Valentine, which she first wore on a most memorable day: Prince William and Kate's wedding in 2011.

It has been a busy week for the Duchess and royal family, who have attended a variety of special events this week including Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday celebration, Prince Philip's 95th birthday and a string of other engagements.

Despite the commotion, Kate clearly hasn't forgotten how to look fabulous. Earlier this week she turned heads in a stunning Roland Mouret gown at a banquet and showed her fun side in a colorful Roksanda Ilincic dress for the Queen's Patron's Lunch on Sunday.
