At just 22 years old, The Voice finalist was continuing to grow her loyal fan base, perform her hits across the country and even spend time with her biggest cheerleaders of all: Her family.
But as fans recently learned, Christina's life was cut way too short when the YouTube star was killed at her show in Orlando Friday evening.
"We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning," her publicist shared with E! News. "If you'd like to give back to Christina's family in her memory, please consider donating to the families GoFundMe page in their time of need."
As followers, celebrities and the music industry mourn the loss of a talented star, we're taking a look back at her final days where music and family were everything.
Ever since May 29, Christina was hitting the road with Before You Exit for the All the Lights Tour. Friday night's concert at The Plaza Live in Orlando marked the third to last tour stop before performances in San Francisco and Los Angeles later this week.
"Thanks everyone for supporting Side A and my music and just EVERYTHING," she wrote on Instagram just days before hitting the road. "I love you so much. GET PUMPED FOR TOUR AAYYYY."
The singer was also active on her YouTube page where she has more than 3.2 million subscribers. In the past week, Christina used her voice for good by raising awareness about The Humane Society of the United States.
"I'm doing everything that I can with them to help raise money to save my beautiful, beautiful animals," she shared to her followers. "I'm a huge fan of doing fundraisers. I'm a huge fan of just giving back in general and my baby animals need me."
And while her fame and fan base were continuing to grow, Christina appeared to still be a humble, young woman enjoying life's simple things.
In addition to celebrating National Best Friend Day on Wednesday with "YU KNOW WHO U ARE," Christina was snapping selfies on social media, snuggling with pets and expressing her enthusiasm at the future.
"Look what will be available to buy on tour," she wrote on Instagram while holding her new EP. Celebrating that unforgettable voice until the very end.
