Bristol Palin is officially a married woman.
The proud mom and famous daughter to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said "I Do" to her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dakota Meyer, her rep confirmed to E! News.
"Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you'll end up where you're supposed to be," the couple shared with ET who first confirmed the news. "We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married! Hard work and God's grace are the foundation of our new life together, and with the love and support of our family we know we can get through anything."
Earlier this week, speculation began to surround the couple's relationship status after Dakota posted a photo of himself and Bristol getting close for a selfie. Along the way, followers could spot a brand-new ring on Bristol's finger.
"On one hand, we know that everything happens for a reason, and there are no mistakes or coincidences," he wrote. "On the other hand, we learn that we can never give up, knowing that with the right tools and energy, we can reverse any decree or karma. So, which is it? Let the Light decide, or never give up? The answer is: both."
The couple is now enjoying a private honeymoon at an undisclosed location.
Dakota and Bristol announced their engagement in March 2015, but called off their wedding just one month later. In recent months, however, there have been signs that the pair was working on their relationship.
Just last month, the duo reunited on more than one occasion to hang out with their daughter Sailor Grace. Based on social media posts, things appeared to be on friendly terms.
"#Coparenting," she captioned one photo before posting another just one week ago. "b a b y d a d d y b f f." Dakota also took to social media to wish Bristol a Happy Mother's Day. "Bristol, we definitely haven't always seen eye to eye but one thing that's never been a question is how amazing of a mother you are," he shared. "And to my mom, thank you. Happy Mother's Day."
