InstagramFatherhood certainly suits Michael Phelps!
The most-decorated Olympian of all time Instagrammed new pictures of his and Nicole Johnson's 1-month-old son Boomer Robert Phelps on Sunday, and as you can see, the trio seem to be settling in to their new family life quite well.
In the first image, Michael cradles baby Boomer while his fiancée, the winner of the Miss California USA 2010 pageant, rests in bed right beside them. The proud dad captured the sweet photo simply, "Nothing like being home with the family!!!"
The swimming legend even shared a selfie with his newborn son, writing cheekily, "Boomer says what's up y'all!!!"
Both Boomer and his mom Nicole will be cheering on dad at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and Michael is looking forward to it.
"One of the coolest things about being a father going into Rio is that our firstborn has the chance to see my last race ever," he told Us Weekly earlier this year. "I think that's something that'll be really special that we'll be able to share stories with him, you know, from the time he gets old enough to realize, and I'm excited to have a lot of photos and just to share the moments and memories with him growing up as a kid."
Time will tell if baby Boomer inherits his famous father's passion for the pool, but if he does, he certainly has access to a great coach!
