Eva Longoria is loving every minute of married life.
Just hours after returning home from her tropical honeymoon, the actress stepped out for the opening night of the Los Angeles Film Festival. Along the way, she couldn't help but share new details about her unforgettable wedding.
"[Our wedding] was so magical. We had so much fun as you can see from all the posts from everybody," she told E! News' Marc Malkin exclusively at the premiere of her new movie Lowriders. "It was the funnest wedding I had ever been to. I'm glad it was mine."
Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston tied the knot on May 21 near Mexico City in front of their close family and friends in a romantic ceremony. Guests included Victoria Beckham (who designed the bride's wedding dress) and her hubby David Beckham, Ricky Martin and Melanie Griffith.
While the event itself was a private affair, the actress was able to share a few candid photos from the big day on Instagram including a view of her stunning gown.
"[Victoria] did everything. I actually wore three dresses over the weekend and they were all Victoria's. I went to London twice. I had two fittings. She really was so involved in developing my dress because she wanted it to be what I wanted," Longoria shared. "She wanted it to be perfect. She was like, 'I don't do wedding dresses' and I was like, 'I don't want a wedding dress. I want a simple elegant beautiful dress' and I couldn't think of anyone who would do it better than Victoria."
The couple would later enjoy a honeymoon where bikinis were absolutely welcome. "I just flew back a couple of hours ago. We went to Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand," the new bride gushed. "We had this amazing wedding blessing from a monk who tied these [red string bracelets] on us. It was magical. My honeymoon was magical."
Both the 41-year-old actress and media businessman began dating back in 2013. Longoria later announced their engagement in December by posting a photo on Instagram. "Ummmm so this happened....#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness," the businesswoman wrote.
As the pair enjoy their new relationship status, Longoria remains busier than ever. Her new film Lowriders explores familial relationships within a second-generation Mexican family in East Los Angeles. In addition, Longoria is executive producing a new season of Devious Maids scheduled to return June 6 on Lifetime.
As for whether or not she plans to expand the family, that answer is to be determined. "Who knows! One thing at a time," she told us. "I have three beautiful step-kids who are just amazing. They were part of the wedding so it was just special."
