Watch: Will Olicity Survive the "Arrow" Finale?

Don't shoot the messenger. Because he will dodge it and fire back an arrow of his own.

It's safe to say Arrow's fan-favorite couple Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) have had their fair share of ups (A proposal! Domestic bliss!) and downs (A secret child! A broken engagement! A fake wedding!) over the course of season four, and while fans are hoping for a reunion in the CW hit's finale tonight, it doesn't sound like that's in the cards. (See previous statement about not shooting the messenger.)

"I think there's always hope for Oliver and Felicity," Amell told E! News at the CW Upfront last week in NYC...but before we could celebrate, he had to go and add this: "But that hope is not addressed in this episode. At all."

We get it, the city is in danger, lives are at stake, so sometimes romance has to take the backseat. But still: come on!

At least Felicity fans can take comfort in knowing they won't have to spend the whole episode biting their nails over Damien Dahrk's (Neal McDonough) plan to use her to get Rubicon working again to let the Star City burn after the devastating loss of his wife.

"It certainly looks like the finale is going to be about rescuing Felicity, and it's not that," Amell assured us. "It resolves itself very quickly." Phew!

Still, that doesn't mean the season four finale will be an easy one for Oliver, who will be forced to make a decision that's been in the works for quite some time.

"We get to see Oliver do some things as Oliver Queen and Oliver's also presented with a choice that he's been wrestling with it a lot now for a lot of years now, a lot of seasons, so it'll be interesting to see he does," Amell teased.

Arrow's finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW.
