When in Rome, look like the Romans used to look...
Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West attended the premiere of designer Valentino Garavani and business partner Giancarlo Giammetti's production of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata, which Sofia Coppola is directing at the Rome Opera House Sunday.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wore an elegant, sleeveless, one-shoulder, draped white Vivienne Westwood gown with a thigh-high split and a long train, paired with gold platform sandals with leafy straps. Kanye, 38, wore an all-black suit and tan suede boots.
"I see you @kimkardashian and #KanyeWest! You both look amazing!! #Rome #family #love," Kim's mother Kris Jenner, 60, wrote on her Instagram page.
Kim,, 35, sported what appeared to be nude Spanx under her dress. The reality star has been dieting and working out for months to lose the weight she gained while pregnant with her and Kanye's son Saint West, their second child, who was born in December. Earlier this month, she revealed she was almost at her goal post-pregnancy weight.
At the event, Kim posted on her Snapchat photos and videos from their trip to Rome, including a shot of the Victor Emmanuel II monument and selfies at the opera with Italian actress and Spectre Bond girl Monica Bellucci, 51, and Valentino.
The 84-year-old designer had in 2014 hosted a lavish brunch for Kim, Kanye and her family at his home in France just before the couple tied the knot in Italy.
Kim and Kanye arrived in Rome Sunday morning after visiting London, where they attended the Vogue 100 Festival's Fashion, Friendship and Fabulous Lashes event at the Royal Geographical Society. Kim also shopped at Westwood's boutique in the city.
Kim had last week also attended the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in France.
