Sheldon's mom and Leonard's dad hit it off in a major way in the CBS hit sitcom's May 12 finale

Is Season 10 going to be a remake of Stepbrothers?!

The Big Bang Theory closed out its ninth season on Thursday night with a bang. Literally. (Spoilers for the season nine finale ahead, so look away if you've yet to watch!)

Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) mom Mary (Laurie Metcalf) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) dad Alfred (Judd Hirsch) hooked up! Probably! After both parents, as well as Leonard's mom and Alfred's ex-wife  Bevery (Christine Baranski), were invited to town for Leonard and Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) second wedding, sparks immediately flew. And it was weird. 

And their chemistry came to a head at a group dinner, after a fight broke out at the table between Alfred and Beverly, he decided to excuse himself early. Of course, Mary decided to leave with him, and the two discussed getting a night cap at their hotel. And later, when both weren't answering Sheldon or Leonard's calls or texts, it was kind of clear what was happening. 

The finale ended with this exchange: 

Sheldon: "I don't like this at all."

Leonard: "I don't like it either."

Penny: "Really? ‘Cause I love it!"
