With a growing baby bump, the 28-year-old pregnant Shallows star packed her bags and headed to the French Riviera armed with a wardrobe of glitzy looks expected at the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival.
For her first day in the windswept resort town Tuesday, the actress opted for a gray beaded sheer gown embellished with a silver abstract print. Lively showed off her glowing décolletage with a low-cut neckline and peekaboo cutouts at the shoulders. It was the perfect combination of high-fashion glamour and care-free ease, the latter inspired by a famous Disney character.
"#Cannes2016 fashion inspo day 1: Esmerelda," she captioned a photo of herself on her Instagram account. As fans of the cartoon classic The Hunchback of Notre Dame know, Esmeralda is the vibrant gypsy character set in the film's Parisian storyline. The inspiration is clear—Esmeralda sports an off-the-shoulder blouse and flowing skirt throughout the movie, much like Lively's loose maxi dress.
To finish off the unique look, Lively strapped on a pair of black and white snake print heels and sported a Brigitte Bardot-inspired messy bouffant with cascading waves. Blake makes glamour looks so easily achievable, sometimes we wonder if she just wakes up looking like this.
However, no matter how dolled up she is, Lively has no qualms about getting a little silly. While promoting her upcoming film, Woody Allen's Cafe Society, the actress puckered up for a photo with the movie's poster.
"One of these is not actually the poster," she quipped on her Instagram account.

By Wednesday morning, she had already unveiled another impressive look—a fire engine-red jumpsuit—while posing for a photo call for the film. As she strutted the red carpet, photographers captured a glimpse of her subtle baby bump wrapped in the form-fitting body suit. The jumpsuit was dramatic with its wide-legged pans, scoop neckline and matching fabric draped necklace.
It's as if Lively got two looks for the price of one—if she stood with her legs together, it seemed like she was wearing a crimson gown thanks to the extra fabric overlay at the waist. However, with her legs apart, the jumpsuit emerged. In true fashionista form, Blake kept everyone guessing.
