Say bye to your childhood as you know it. The gang from the Power Rangers revealed their new uniforms today, and the Internet is less than pleased. The film, out in March of next year, gave the Rangers a serious update that's actually making us miss synthetic fabrics. A far cry from the poppy, spandex rainbow of yesteryear, Twitter calls out the new Rangers as slightly sexist, Iron Man rip-offs. Ruh-roh. Let's take a closer look at the uniforms, shall we? Since Entertainment Weekly released the new photo below, people were quick to point out the not-so-subtle differences in the outfits of Trini, the Yellow Ranger and Kimberly the Pink Ranger.

For one, fans were not pleased about the dramatic "boob armor" these new uniforms provide. Seriously, though! How is everyone going to move around in that heavy armor anyway? At least the old bodysuits provided some flexibility. Oh, did we mention the female Rangers are also wearing heels in the reboot? Wedges to be exact. Yeah, that's a thing. Production designer Andrew Menzies confessed to EW, "It's tricky finding a new language for a superhero costume. Ours is an alien costume that grows on them, that's not man-made. You can't win everyone over, but we are trying to appeal to a more mature audience and gain new fans." Le sigh. Take a look at the tweets below and eye roll along with us.
