Sorry Sex and the City fans, you probably won't see Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha together onscreen again.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who played the former in the hit HBO series and two movies, says there are "currently no plans" to make a third film. While she had made similar comments in a 2014 Ellen DeGeneres Show interview, fans have continued to hold out hope.

"A really close friend of [Sex and the City executive producer, writer and director] Michael Patrick [King] just texted my very best friend yesterday and said, 'Do you know when they might make Sex and the City 3?' because he wants to go have fun. There are currently no plans," Parker said on the Sirius XM satellite radio show Just Jenny Wednesday. "I am not being cagey or withholding. You would see through that."

Then the actress went on to kill more fans' dreams.

Host Jenny Hutt asked her, "What about a sequel for Hocus Pocus?"

"Thus far, no plans," Parker said.

In November 2014, Hocus Pocus co-star Bette Midler revealed in a Reddit AMA that she, Parker and Kathy Najimy were all willing to reprise their role as the three witches and called on fans to ask Disney about it so that a sequel can be made. Hours later, the latter two actresses took to Twitter to conform they are indeed in.

However, a year later, Midler said there would be no Hocus Pocus 2.

"After all these years and all the fan demand, I do believe I can stand and firmly say an unequivocal no," she said during a Facebook chat.

In October 2015, Hocus Pocus producer and co-writer David Kirschner told Yahoo! Movies the studio had several years ago passed on a theatrical film sequel he pitched and that he recently suggested making a follow-up that would instead air on the Disney Channel. Disney has never commented on the Hocus Pocus sequel reports.
