The Real Housewives of New York City, Now With More Emotional Confessions and Zingers

Jules and Bethenny had one heck of a heart-to-heart, and then B went at it with Luann

After watching this episode of The Real Housewives of New York City I had a scary thought: What if Bethenny Frankel had never returned? What would that Real Housewives of New York City look like? Would there be more fake legs flying across the table? Fights over splashing water? Perish the thought.

With Bethenny back in the fold, things are wildly entertaining and oh-so real. RHONY is hands down the best Housewives show. There, it has been declared.

OK, let's get into it. Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley and Jules Wainstein met for a meal and whatever. "Oh my god, can we be catty for a second?" Carole asked Dorinda before Jules showed up. Yes, Carole, you can. You can always get catty on The Real Housewives of New York City. She wanted to talk about the weird brunch and Jules' money pit of a house. Carole also lost her phone and a sexy picture of her boyfriend, but don't worry, it wasn't too NSFW. "I wouldn't want a dick pic on as my screensaver," she said.

Anyway, it seems Jules seems to be suffering from the same syndrome Kristen Taekman had, the desire to go up against Bethenny. For what? Screen time? But that seemed to fade away when she had brunch with B and confessed to having battled an eating disorder. It was raw and a necessary conversation. Bonding them…but for how long? They also put the Hampton's brunch behind them…but for how long? Remember it's the Real Housewives. " Secrets keep you sick…I'm so open, I want my friends to know so I can't get away with it," Jules said. And good for her. Despite the heavy topic, Bethenny still had some zingers about dealing with Jules and her, um, conversation style, and insistence on always mentioning her heritage. "She should walk in in a geisha outfit holding a matzo ball," Bethenny said.

Meanwhile, Ramona Singer visited Sonja Morgan to sip some drinks and drop some gossip. According to Ramona, Bethenny didn't invite Sonja to her party because Sonja becomes too messy. That's why Ramona has kept her distance too.  It's there where Ramona says the most accurate thing she's ever said:

"I was thinking Three's Company without John Ritter," Sonja said of plans to have Luann de Lesseps move in.

"Do you really think that's a good idea?" Ramona asked.

Boom.

OK, the other best thing said during this episode was when Carole and Bethenny went over to Ramona's for lunch or whatever and the table was so wobbly. "It's like Sonja, we're on our last leg," Bethenny said.

Fast forward to Ramona's birthday brunch where people can't stop praising Bethenny's hair. Luann showed up with a surprisingly nice birthday gift for Bethenny and a regift of jewelry from her line for Ramona. [Insert laughing so hard you're crying emoji here.]

But Bethenny had a bone to pick with Luann: She's trying too hard. She feels like the snake is back in the grass. She's felt this way for a while, and it seems the gift sent her over the edge and the two really went at it for a bit. Bethenny's big revelation: Luann wanted to be invited to B's for the dinner party she hosted for Kyle Richards and the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

To quote Smash: "The drama, the laughter, the tears just like pearls…"
