Music fans were treated to more than a few special moments Sunday night when the American Country Countdown Awards was broadcast live from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
In between the tributes, collaborations and an appearance by Matthew McConaughey (surprise!), more than a few of your favorite artists picked up a trophy for their hits in the past year.
Luke Bryan was awarded the highly coveted Artist of the Year award where he quickly admitted that the honor was "getting me right now."
"You know, everybody in my world that makes this happen—you know, my wife, my kids, my label, my management—my people that make me look kind of okay in front of you guys out there on the road, thank you so much for this night, and this will be certainly cherished," he shared with the crowd. "Fans, again, radio, everybody, we love you. Thank you so much."
