Michelle Dockery is ready to hit the red carpet once again.
The Downton Abbey star was able to attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner Saturday night where she appeared to have a nice evening out.
Wearing a bright Cushnie Et Ochs marigold gown, the actress couldn't help but smile while posing for photos and showing off her clutch and Tiffany jewelry.
Just a few hours before the event began, Michelle also shared her excitement for the annual event by posting on Instagram. "Headed to #NerdProm2016," she shared with her followers. "Us #WHCD #Joy."
She would also tag her close friends and glam squad including Jordan Bree Long who wrote, "My Ray of Sunshine."
The night out in Washington comes almost five months after Michelle's fiancé John Dineen passed away at Marymount Hospital in Ireland after a battle with cancer.
At the funeral service, Michelle reportedly sang "The Folks Who Live on the Hill" and was able to say more than a few kind words about the special man in her life.
"It was clear that when John was in your corner he was there. I was honored to know John. To love him and be loved by him," The Irish Independent quoted Michelle as saying during the service. "He was my friend, my king, my hero, my everything. We celebrate him, we honor him and we will miss him."
Michelle returned to work three months after the heartbreaking death and has expanded her support for cancer research. In a recent Instagram post, she showed her care for Stand Up 2 Cancer with a quote from a cancer survivor.
"Let nothing own you," she captioned the photo as a quote from Michael Douglas appeared as the photo. "Cancer didn't bring me to my knees, it brought me to my feet."
