Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are going on a very special ride: The tourmates filmed a Carpool Karaoke segment for James Corden's Late Late Show on Thursday, and we already have high expectations for what you know is going to be an epic sing-off.
The Late Late Show posted an instagram with the Future Now Tour artists and Corden after they took a spin through Los Angeles on Thursday, confirming the news with a simple post: "What are you up to? We were just filming a new #CarpoolKaraokewith a couple friends."
We're already going through the playlist in our heads—and between Nick's sexy jams and Demi's powerful ballads, there's plenty of material for a well-balanced segment. Wonder if they're hiding any special guests in the trunk: Joe Jonas and his pals in DNCE or Nick's "Close" duet partner Tove Lo, perhaps? (At the very least, they better send some ridiculous texts to Nick and Demi's pals, a la the Jennifer Lopez-Leonardo DiCaprio exchange.)
SURPRISE! #CarpoolKaraoke with @nickjonas and @ddlovato coming your way soon!

E! News confirmed that the airdate for the segment is TBD, but since Selena Gomez's Carpool Karaoke (which filmed a few weeks ago) isn't scheduled to run until June, sometime this summer seems like a fair bet.
Nick and Demi join the ranks of the Carpool Karaoke artists that came before them, including Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, One Direction (all four members), Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Derulo, Adele, Elton John, Sia, Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, and Justin Bieber (twice!)—not to mention the segments the show has banked but not yet announced.
