It's been over a year since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bath tub and Dr. Phil helped stage an intervention to get her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, into rehab.

Though the television host attempted to sit down and talk with Gordon in March of 2015, he was almost unable to function, admitting to being under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Now, after spending time in rehab, he is finally sitting down with Dr. Phil again and opening up about both Bobbi Kristina and Whitney Houston in the months leading up to their deaths.

During the interview, which airs April 28 and 29, Gordon reveals Krissy's struggle with drug and alcohol abuse. He claims she first began using drugs "socially" even before Whitney passed away. However, after her mother was found dead in a bath tub, Gordon says they began using drugs more and more.

"It got really bad after Nip had passed away," he explained, using Whitney's nickname. "It was unfortunate but at the time it was the only way we knew how to deal with what had happened."

This is also what he did to deal with the pain of everything that had happened with Krissy.

"Rehab was something I needed, and I'm thankful that I got that opportunity," he said. "I was drinking so much at the time because I could not deal with what was happening to Krissy. It mentally broke me. That's the lowest point in my life right there."

Dr. Phil also touched on the Bobby Brown's family, asking if Gordon can understand why they see him the "evil doer."

"Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney's last few years on earth as happy as they would be," Gordon responded. "I gave them somebody to trust, to talk to, to be there, someone genuine."

In fact, he blames Bobby Brown for Krissy's struggles.

"[Bobby] hurt his own daughter, not me," Gordon claimed. "I was the one there for her while she was dealing with him not being there. He's not a reasonable person so I'm not planning on talking to him and I really don't want to."

Nick Gordon's full interview with air on Dr. Phil April 28 and 29.
