Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa have yet to exchange words with each other on the big elephant in the room.

A source tells E! News that the Live! co-hosts still haven't spoken since the ABC executive meeting held on Tuesday morning announcing Strahan's move to Good Morning America, but adds that, "He has no bad blood towards her at this point and is looking forward to start his new chapter with his new team."

Although a private conversation has yet to be had, Strahan has publicly spoken out about his soon-to-be former co-host, praising her support the last four years.

His most recent comments were made on GMA this morning. "I'm going to miss everybody at Live!," Michael, 44, admitted. "I've been sitting next to Kelly every day and having a lot of fun on that show for the last four years. I'm very thankful for her—to her—because I learned so much from her."

He credited Ripa with teaching him everything he knows about life on a morning show. "I was so new to all of this. If it weren't for her, if it weren't for [executive producer] Michael Gelman and the staff there that really boosted me up and made me look a lot better than I really am, I never would have had a chance to be here," he said.

"But I'm grateful that I'm here. And we're on the same network. I'm just right over here a little bit earlier now, but we're the same team, same family, same network."

Meanwhile, Ripa, who has remained mum on the matter and was "livid" about how it went down, resurfaced this morning when she stepped out of her New York City townhouse with husband Mark Consuelos.

The couple and their family have seemingly canceled a previously planned trip to Turks and Caicos, which was assumed to be a 20th anniversary celebration, as they were scheduled to fly out today but have remained in the Big Apple.

A show rep for Live! previously told E! News that Ripa would not be returning to her post on the daytime talk show for the rest of the week and the beginning of next week. Erin Andrews will guest co-host again tomorrow, and Shay Mitchell will fill in on Monday.
