The Coachella Music Festival don't start ‘til Kesha walks in.

Before a full day of music, flower crowns and star-studded parties came to an end, thousands of music lovers were treated to one big surprise in the California desert.

Amid an ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke, Kesha made an appearance on stage during Zedd's explosive set where she performed the DJ's hit song "True Colors."

In videos posted onto social media shortly after the performance, the crowd appeared more than excited to see the singer on stage as she showed off her vocals. And while the Los Angeles Times reports that the singer didn't speak to the crowd, perhaps it was the lyrics that did all the talking.

"I won't apologize for the fire in my eyes," she sang. "Let me show you my true colors."

Hours before the big reveal, Kesha got fans buzzing when she posted pictures from what appeared to be a private airplane.

"Tonight has a magic to it," she wrote on Instagram with a colorful hairstyle complete with pink, blue and purple hues. "Here we come. 4 hours and counting…somewhere over America…eek!!!!"

Zedd added, "COACHELLA. Saturday. 9:30 pm. Don't miss this. I have something big planned. Be there or stream it."

Kesha's night out comes as the singer continues to receive support from many musicians in various musical genres. In fact, Zedd was one of the many artists to tweet positive messages to the singer after one of her court dates.

"@KeshaRose very very sorry to hear about your whole situation," he wrote. "I'll be happy to produce a song for you if you want my help."

Kesha isn't the only surprise at this weekend's festival. Kanye West made a special appearance during A$AP Rocky's set to perform "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" from his new album The Life of Pablo. In addition, Disclosure brought out Lorde and Sam Smith during his gig.

As for Sunday's shows, celebs and fans alike are looking forward to sets from Calvin Harris, Sia, The 1975, Alessia Cara and more.
