Without a doubt, our favorite category of any Emmys is Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series. Not only does it contain our favorite shows, but we like to see how each show will introduce its writers. And this year didn’t disappoint—it was the most entertaining part of the show so far.

The Daily Show and Late Show with David Letterman kept it political, commenting on Alberto Gonzales and George W. Bush. The Colbert Report went slapstick, allowing each writer to take a shot at Stephen. Of course, Real Time with Bill Maher was most controversial, with the writers in bathroom stalls doing...well, we'll let you decide. And Late Night with Conan O'Brien took a shot at illegal immigration.

Which sequence did you enjoy most?
