The Emmys are paying tribute to The Sopranos with a little song and dance.

Back on Aug. 23, I told you there’s going to be a monster Sopranos family reunion during television’s big night.

Emmys producer Ken Ehrlich confirmed my scoop this morning, when he gathered the press at the Shrine Auditorium to unveil the new Emmys stage.

What I decided not to tell you in my initial report—I thought I’d let ya be surprised—is that the cast of the Broadway musical Jersey Boys, which tracks the rise of the vocal group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, will be performing the tribute before James Gandolfini & Co. are introduced onstage.

But Ehrlich let the bada-bing out of the bag. "One of the performances, I'll tell you, is a big tribute to The Sopranos with the cast of Jersey Boys,” he told reporters. “Jersey and Jersey, get it?"

This isn’t all I have for you from this morning’s Emmy stage unveiling—check back later for even more, including some of my other scoops that Mr. Ehrlich confirmed.

Hint: Justin Timberlake and Kanye West!
