Stars Hollow is getting its first new face!

Netflix's upcoming Gilmore Girls revival has recruited its very first new cast member: Sutton Foster.

E! News has confirmed that the Younger star, who played down-and-out-dancer Michelle on Gilmore creator Amy Sherman-Palladino's late, lamented ABC Family series, Bunheads, has signed on for a role in the four-part Gilmore revival.

TVLine originally reported Foster's reunion with Gilmore boss Sherman-Palladino.

News of the upcoming Gilmore reboot, which has already begun shooting on the Warner Bros. lot, originally broke last year, although it wasn't officially confirmed until a few weeks ago.

While Foster is the first non-original cast member confirmed for the revival, a good number of Stars Hollow residents are returning, including Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, Liza Weil, Keiko Agena, Matt Czuchry, and Milo Ventimiglia.

There has been no word on whether Jared Padalecki will make an appearance as Dean, but it's looking rather unlikely that Melissa McCarthy will reprise her role as Lorelai's best friend Sookie, as she recently said she had not been asked to join the production but she did wish them "all the best."

The four-part series will feature several new characters, including a Peruvian couple, a Portuguese nanny, a couple of kids, and several more that probably aren't who Foster is playing. There's no word on her character just yet.
