LuAnn de Lesseps and Thomas D'Agostino Jr. are engaged, E! News confirms. The happy couple made it official over the weekend ahead of their romantic vacation to Colorado. "It happened this past weekend in New York at his house," a source reveals to us. "They're leaving for Vail today for a week's vacation to celebrate. They're both over the moon."
The proposal comes only a few days after the Real Housewives of New York star, 50, appeared on The FABLife, where she dished that she was feeling very confident that her relationship would eventually make its way to the altar. "I'm so excited. I found love the second time around. I'm so lucky. His name is Tom. He's wonderful," she began.
"He's really just my soul mate. I was married for 16 years the first time, and very lucky and had my two beautiful children and I never thought it would happen to me again, but I found love again, and I'm a hopeless romantic. So, it looks like we're gonna get married."
Little did she know it would happen a few days later! LuAnn's previously told E! News that he would be popping the question but was "still looking for the right ring." Obviously, he found it, as he proposed with an 8-carat canary diamond, according to People. We would have to say it was worth the wait!
LuAnn also tweeted after her big proposal, writing, "Yes it's true! #happy #love." She also included a red heart emoji.
The Bravo star has shared adorable photos of her and her new fiancé on Instagram, making no secret of their strong feelings for each other. Another source also dished to E! News that they "are very much in love," so the proposal was imminent.
