She's ba-aaack!

Gilmore Girls fans, update your scorecards because another fan-favorite has officially confirmed they are returning to Stars Hollow: Liza Weil will be reprising the role of Paris Geller in Netflix's four-episode revival, the actress revealed to E! News at the Savannah College of Art and Design's aTVfest television festival in Atlanta, joyously telling us, "It's happening!"

And it's happening very soon, as filming began on the revival on Feb. 2.

"I start on Tuesday, which I really feel like bodes well that I get to start on a Tuesday being that we used to be on a Tuesday," the How to Get Away With Murder star spilled. "Tuesday is my first day and I'm nervous!"

Weil revealed that she won't be in all four episodes (which take place over the course of one year, so one episode for each season), viewers will definitely still get their Paris fix as she's "doing two" episodes, and has only read the scripts for those seasonal-themed outings.

So what was it like reading the scripts, penned by series creator Amy Sherman Palladino (who will also direct all four installments)? "It's very emotional to read them," she said. "It's like a really magical perfect time machine. I'm very happy to be a part of it."

And, after reading what's in store for Paris, Weil (who starred in all seven seasons of the beloved WB series) said, "It was like I didn't realize how much I missed her...it was nice to sort of see an old friend."

Back in June at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, most of the Gilmore Girls cast came together for a reunion panel, and E! News asked Weil what Paris would be up to today, and she predicted that she was still with her old boyfriend Doyle (Empire co-creator Danny Strong). "I like to think she and Doyle are very happily married, I think they were really matched," Weil said at the time. "I think Paris is probably still just in the world and doing work that interests her. Maybe a little bit of law and a little bit of medicine."

So was she right? Well, Weil couldn't say what Paris is up to when viewers catch up with her eight years later, she teased, "I'm really excited to be able to go back into that world and execute that stuff. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm excited to take a swing at what Amy's cooked up!"

As for whether or not Doyle will be back with Paris, Weil laughed before saying, "I don't know, I can't say!"

Officially confirmed to appear in the series are Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson, with Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena also set to return. Yanic Truesdale, who will reprise the role of Michel, tweeted the first photo from the set of the reunion, posting a selfie with Lauren Graham.

Matt Czuchry is reportedly signed on as the first of Rory's three major former loves to make an appearance.

No premiere date for Gilmore Girls' revival has been set.
