Vanessa Hudgens is understandably missing her father.

Exactly one week after Greg Hudgens passed away after a battle with cancer, his daughter decided to share a heartfelt message on social media.

"I wish heaven had visiting hours," the quote read on Instagram and Twitter before Vanessa added the words "If only…"

Vanessa's latest message comes after the actress inspired audiences with her portrayal of the feisty and sassy Rizzo on Grease: Live. In fact, her live performance in front of millions of viewers occurred less than 24 hours after she learned of her dad's passing.

"I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer," she wrote. "Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers."

If only...

She added, "Tonight, I do the show in his honor." And that she did.

Whether performing "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee" or "There Are Worst Things I Could Do," the High School Musical alumna exceeded expectations from critics and viewers alike.

The 27-year-old also proved that the time-tested showbiz adage—the show must go on—is a real thing.

"I can't believe @GoGrease is OVER! Grand opening and grand closing. Thank you to everyone who watched & supported me last night," the actress penned online one day after her gig. "Doing #GreaseLive was one of the most incredible experiences and I'm so glad you guys liked it as much as I did. Till next time Rizz #PinkLadyForLive."

Our thoughts continue to go out to the Hudgens family.
