We hadn't really been paying much attention to the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, save for gawking at photos of Chris Hemsworth looking all dirty and hunky. And then the trailer for The Huntsman: Winter's War dropped and now we can't stop talking about it. Why?
Because it's full of badass female characters that will almost definitely make us shout out "Yasss, slay us all, ladies!" throughout the entire movie. Sure, we'll get thrown out of the theater but it'll be worth it.
Here are all the times Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt looked so fierce and strong that it turned us into the human equivalent of the prayer hands emojis:
1. When Freya, the Ice Queen first appeared and you knew with just one look that you would worship her.
2. When she was like "Elsa ain't got nothing on me" and even that badger was like "nah, girl. I'm out."
3. When she showed that she could literally cut down some bitches.
4. When Sara the Warrior watched the Huntsman kill a straw dummy and she gave him a smile that said, "You're hot but I could kill you if I wanted to. I won't. But I could."
5. When Freya rode a polar bear. A polar bear. No horses for this one. Deadly polar bears only.
6. When she had absolutely zero time for workplace romances. #sorrynotsorry
7. When we finally got our first glimpse of Queen Ravenna and she looked just as fierce as we remember.
8. When Emily and Charlize looked at each other like, "ready to slay all these people?" and the world was like "yes, we are ready."
9. When Freya said this line that gave you chills: "men have forgotten what it means to be afraid."
10. When Ravenna looked like a living nightmare but somehow was still more gorgeous than most humans.
11. When the Evil Queen's side-eye was on point.
12. When you realized Freya could destroy you with a flick of her wrist.
13. THIS.
14. AND THIS.
15. When you suddenly shipped Katniss and Sara.
16. When Ravenna caught an arrow in midair like it was NBD.
17. When you suddenly felt the urge to bow down to Queen Charlize.
18. And finally, when the Evil Queen laid waste to a room full of peasants:
Basically, The Huntsman: Winter's War looks like it'll be all about the ladiessss. And we are so here for that. Sorry, Chris Hemsworth. We will appreciate your muscular torso and skillful action sequences, but we're seeing this one for those three queens.
The Huntsman: Winter's War hits theaters Apr. 22, 2016.
