It looks like it's over for Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long.

The New York Post's Page Six and Us Weekly reported late Tuesday night that the actors have broken up after two years of dating. "It happened a few weeks ago," a source close to the former couple revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands Friday. "He's really heartbroken." Another insider told the magazine that the busy actors "had different schedules and different lives and "grew apart" in recent months. Seyfried herself has admitted that it can be challenging to date another actor. While promoting Ted 2 in June, she told Vogue, "Making movies is two solid months of 12-, 14-hour days. I mean, it can ruin your relationship."

The exes met after Seyfried saw one of Long's Instagram posts in 2013.

Two years later, without mentioning Long by name, The Pennsylvania native told Vogue she dreams of living a quieter life. "I want to have kids...I would like my life to be the same as it is now, but with a little less stress and a little less work," she said.

Seyfried also had babies on the brain at Ted 2's New York City premiere in June, telling E! News, "I'd like to have one in the next four or five years. And the second one can happen between 35 and 40. Or I can adopt...It's fine. I definitely want to a couple kids." As far as being married was concerned, the Fathers and Daughters star said, "I'm only 29—or I'm almost 30! See, there's such a small gap there! It's crazy."

The next month, Seyfried reiterated her desire to become a mother. "I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off," the actress, who next appears as Mary in Pan, told Marie Claire U.K. "I need to get on it...I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for like, two years. I'm not ready but nobody's ready. It changes everything...So how you can ever be ready for that?"
