Do you smell what The Rock is cookin'? It's a bun in the oven!
E! News confirms that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his longtime girlfriend of nine years Lauren Hashian are expecting their first child together, "and he couldn't be more excited," a source tells us. The 43-year-old star is already dad to 14-year-old daughter, Simone, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
No other details surrounding Hashian's pregnancy have been revealed.
The pro wrestler and actor recently gushed about his singing lady during an interview with Esquire.
"We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned and my daughter [Simone] isn't mentioned. I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there. You gotta get the better half in there," he told the mag.
"With all the cool s--t and success that I've been lucky enough to get? That doesn't happen unless the home life is solid."
And with the addition of another little bundle of joy, it seems like home life is going to be pretty exciting.
After all, The Rock recently added two little French Bulldog pups to the brood, Brutus and Hobbs. And they're already keeping his hands full. Johnson had to sprint to their safety over Labor Day weekend when one of dogs seemed to be drowning in the family's pool.
While Hobbs was able to doggy paddle, Brutus immediately freaked out over the water and began to sink.
"I take off into a full sprint, fully clothed, dive in the pool, swim to the bottom, rescue my brick, I mean BRUTUS and bring him back to the edge of the pool," the Fast and Furious star recalled. "He was a little delirious…took a moment, threw up all the water he swallowed and looked up at me as if to say, ‘Thank God you didn't have to give me mouth to mouth!' and then ran off to play with his brother."
What a great daddy. Congratulations to the pair!
