Brooke Burke, Dancing with the Stars

ABC/KELSEY McNEAL

Consider this a sign of the Apocalypse: Frontrunner Brooke Burke scored lower than Cody Linley on tonight's Dancing with the Stars. Scary, right? And yet we know the 11-year-old girls of the world have good cause to celebrate during recess tomorrow!

Since Brooke hit rock bottom (literally—did you see Derek accidentally slam her into the floor?), does this mean Lance Bass or Warren Sapp will rise up to snag the top spot? And who will be going home?

DWTS PREDICTION SMACKDOWN RESULTS SO FAR:

VEGAS ODDS ON WHO'LL GO NEXT:

(Courtesy of America's Line oddsmaker Benjamin Eckstein)

Cody Linley: 2-1
Warren Sapp: 10-1
Lance Bass: 50-1
Brooke Burke: 100-1

Eckstein Says: "You knew right away that this would be an unusual night when the judges trashed golden girl Brooke Burke in her opening number. The leader and clear favorite on our Vegas odds chart got her lowest score of the season. However, BB redeemed herself in the second number and will certainly make the finals. So will Lance Bass who had the highest scores of the night, and Warren Sapp, who we will now rename 'Gourd of the Dance.' With an apology to all the tweens, heatthrob Cody Linley is gonna have to get his mouse ears out of storage, 'cause he's outta here!"

MY PREDICTION OF WHO'LL GO NEXT:

Cody Linley. And yes, I know I should go suck an egg for saying so, Sally sixth-grader! But sorry, even though the boy is totally cute, he's also awkward and rigid and out of his league, and has got to go.
