Damage control?

After Kelly Osbourne found herself on the receiving end of criticism today following an offensive comment she made about Latinos while guest-hosting The View, the 30-year-old star has apologized (sort of) via Facebook in a heated statement.

The cringe-worthy moment occurred while the ladies were discussing Donald Trump's offensive remarks about immigration and minorities when Osbourne said, "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"

"I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions," she began her apology. "In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT."

"I whole-hearted f--ked up today. I don't want to bulls--t anyone with lame excuses," she continued. "Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie [Perez] and couldn't finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live."

Osbourne added that she "learned a very valuable lesson" and hopes "that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole."

She concluded by writing, "By the way I clean my own f--king toilets."

The British star's controversial remarks came after Perez, whose parents were both born in Puerto Rico, made a comment about Trump's discriminatory statements.

"There are a lot of Latinos here in this country that do agree that the immigration problem is a problem and it does need to be addressed and it does need to be fixed," she said. "But making those comments—those racist comments—does not help."

Osbourne then dropped her toilet cleaning bombshell, drawing gasps from her shocked co-hosts.

"Latinos are not the only people doing that," Perez replied before Osbourne cut her off and said "No, I didn't mean it like that! Come on! I would never mean it like that! I'm not part of this argument."

Later in the show, Perez defended Osbourne and said she was being "overly sensitive" before apologizing via Twitter and calling the guest host "so pure and righteous."

Likewise, Osbourne's mother Sharon, who stars on the The View's rival program The Talk, took to Twitter to thank the hosts for being kind to her daughter.

"I want to thank the ladies @TheView for being so gracious to @KellyOsbourne," she wrote
