Janet Jackson is understandably putting family above work.
Just a few days after Joe Jackson suffered a stroke in Brazil, the "All for You" singer has decided to spend some extra time with her family.
A source confirmed to E! News that Janet has interrupted her tour rehearsal schedule to be with her father. But before fans begin to freak out about the future of her Unbreakable World Tour, we have been told this is just a short little break as her dad recovers.
The Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo confirmed to E! News that Joe entered the hospital Sunday with an irregular heartbeat. It was the same day he was planning to celebrate his 87th birthday.

The Jackson family patriarch has suffered from three other strokes before this past weekend's medical emergency. His most recent one in 2012 was not life threatening.
As Joe begins to recover, Janet has several new and exciting projects up her sleeve. In addition to a world tour, fans will be able to hear a fresh new sound from the Grammy winner.
"I promised you'd hear it from my lips, and now you will," she told fans. "This year: New music, new world tour, a new movement."
In fact, we've already received a taste with her new single "No Sleeep" that is dedicated to her "love" and husband Wissam Al Mana.
"It's been a very long journey. My heart is so full," Janet shared at the 2015 BET Awards. "Thank you God for making everything possible. I am so grateful for the support you've always given me."
She added, "To my loving husband and to all the fans. I've missed you so much and I love you so much."
ET was first to report Janet's tour preparation break.
