Tracy Morgan really is on the up and up!

The 30 Rock alum was spotted with his family and a chauffeur taking a trip to the car wash in New Jersey Tuesday, where he remained in the car while the employees washed his brand new Rolls Royce. Although he stayed inside for most of the trip, the comedian walked out to pay for the wash, where he showed the world that he no longer needs assistance by way of cane or walker—at least for short trips, anyway.

The Saturday Night Live veteran looked healthy and dressed casually in an orange Lacoste T-shirt and khaki shorts.

Morgan has come an incredibly long way since the deadly bus crash that killed his longtime pal James McNair. The actor suffered brain trauma, as well as a broken leg and ribs, but made his first TV appearance on Today in June, where he gave Matt Lauer an update on his health. Incredibly emotional, the interview revealed that Morgan still has a long way to go.

"I can't believe I'm here. I can't believe I'm in front of you. I can't believe I'm here," the SNL alum said. "Just seeing the tragedy happened, it touches me."

The 46-year-old even cleared up the varied reports about his health, explaining that some days are better than others. But even though it had been a year since the accident, he still has a ways to go with his recovery.

"There were times where I had my good days and my bad days, where I forget things," he explained to the NBC co-host. "There are times where I have the headaches and the nosebleeds. I wouldn't even let my lady know because I don't want her to be worried about it."

Even in June, he said, "I have my good days and my bad days."

Although his health has seen vast improvements, the funnyman isn't ready to return to work just yet. But that doesn't mean it's out of the question. "I love comedy. I love comedy. I will never stop loving her. I love comedy and I can't wait to get back to her, but right now, my goal is just to heal and get better. Because I'm not 100 percent yet. I'm not. And when I'm there, you'll know," Morgan assured Lauer.

"I'll get back to making you laugh. I promise you."

The way you look now, Tracy, we know you'll be back in no time!
