The actress and husband Kyle Newman have announced that they are proud parents to a newborn baby boy, which means T. Swift is officially a godmother!
King took to Instagram to share the happy news, posting a family photo of her hubby sitting with their firstborn son James Newman next to the blond beauty on the hospital bed, breastfeeding their new bundle of joy.
"We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th! Xx," she captioned the picture.
However, the photo is a bit confusing because...where's the baby?! It's clear the actress is holding their little boy, but he's nowhere to be seen. Talk about being incognito!
Newman also took to Instagram to share a photo of the exciting announcement, but also opted to keep their son out of the photo.
Guess we'll have to wait a little longer until we see this cutie's face.
The Hart of Dixie star announced her exciting news on Instagram back in February with an adorable photo of her son blowing bubbles with a sign that reads, "I'm gonna be a big brother! Who da boss now I'm so excited!!!!!"
In addition to the too-cute-for-words picture, King gave the photo a hilarious caption, writing, "So excited to announce THE SEQUEL Coming later this year!! ... #BabyTown2 - Created by @kyle_newman and @jaime_king. Also starring #JamesKnight."
It wasn't too long afterward that Swift first learned she'd have an especially special role in this baby's life, which she then shared with fans on social media.
While rubbing her good friend's belly, the singing superstar revealed the exciting news. "Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one…. (ME)," Swift shared with her followers.
"I always thought if I were to have another child that [Taylor] would be the ideal godmother because the way she not only treats me but the way she treats other human beings," King shared with E! News. "She's so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart."
She continued, "I know that [our baby] will always have a very good person and role model through her."
