Caitlyn Jenner stunned the crowd at the 2015 ESPY Awards: First, with her eloquent, emotional speech urging viewers to give trans people their respect. Second, with her form-fitting Atelier Versace gown.
The star took to the stage to receive the 2015 Arthur Ashe Courage Award in a floor-sweeping white confection featuring a plunging neckline, long sleeves and ruching at the waist. We almost had to do a double take, however, because the gown is nearly identical to a Versace number Angelina Jolie donned to the New York City premiere of The Tourist in 2010.
It's not insanely surprising that the two might rock similar looks: Yesterday, a source told E! News that Jen Rade, Angelina's stylist, would assist in dressing Caitlyn for the night.
And while the white wrap dress is not quite what we predicted for Caitlyn, the gown was nonetheless a perfectly fit choice for the statuesque athlete, who joked about how difficult it was to pick a dress for the show.
"The last few months have been a whirlwind of so many different experiences and emotions. But to tell you the truth, it seems like every time I turn around in life, I'm putting myself in these high-pressure situations—competing in the games, raising a family, but I've never felt more pressure than I have in my life than I have in the last couple of months. Picking out this outfit—OK girls, I get it," the E! star quipped.
"It was exhausting. And next, the Fashion Police. Please be kind on me, I'm new at this," she continued.
Don't worry, Caitlyn—last night's look was an undeniable win (and Angelina would probably agree).
