Lauren Conrad is the latest celeb to release a party-planning book, Us Weekly reports, adding that the tome will be called Celebrate!.
Sound familiar? Well, it should, because Pippa Middleton also released a party-planning book with the exact same title back in 2012.
While little is known about Conrad's book, which, according to Harper Collins is 288 pages, Us Weekly reports that the how-to guide will feature tips on "everything party-related, including food, themes, decor, venues, DIY tricks, seating arrangements, invitations and more."
Pippa's, meanwhile, "reveals the secrets to hosting a successful party with recipes, tips and detailed instructions on how to throw a memorable event."
Although it's unclear if the ladies are aware of the copy-cat name, we presume both books will very different, as the British beauty and the California native have completely opposite styles.
But of course, there can only be one hostest with the mostest! So, whose party would you rather attend? Let's compare!
Guest List: While L.C.'s friends are undoubtedly gorgeous, we think Pippa takes the cake in this category, considering many of her friends and family are royalty—literally. A table at Pippa's party could easily be filled with notable guests such as Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry, and if we're lucky, the Duke and Duchess would bring along Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But, if the royal family is a little too stiff for your style, then L.C. is your girl with her slew of Laguna Beach and The Hills alumni pals. A party with Stephen Colletti and Lo Bosworth? Count. Us. In.
Fashion: We suggest you start googling "where to buy a fascinator" if you're hoping to look chic at Pippa's soiree. Conrad, however, is much more casual—think maxi-skirts and boho-inspired blouses.
Social Media Status: While Conrad is a big fan of both Instagram and Pinterest, Pippa does not engaged in any form of social media. Although we can't fault Kate Middleton's sister for staying off Twitter, we do appreciate Lauren's commitment to connecting with her fans. Heck, just take one look at her Pinterest page if you need any added inspiration! Girl isn't afraid to spill her party-planning secrets.
Hostess Gifts: What do you bring to Pippa's party? Honestly, we're not really sure (a bottle of wine, perhaps?). Conrad, however is much easier—a collection of mason jars and candles will do.
Food and Decor: Think pink, pink and more pink for Conrad, who, presumably would also be serving healthy California fair. Fresh avocados, a summer cocktail and a quinoa salad is what we imagine on our plate while Pippa's bash would be filled with—what else—tea and crumpets.
Arm Candy: Let's not forget about Lauren and Pippa's hunky men! The former Hills star is happily married to William Tell while Pippa has been dating Nico Jackson for about two years. Needless to say, both are easy on the eyes.
