Three armed men recently robbed a Los Angeles-area home belonging to Chris Brown and forced his aunt into a closet as they ransacked his property.

The incident was reported early on Wednesday, police confirmed to E! News. His aunt, the sole occupant, was not injured. Brown has not commented.

The man, who wore masks and were armed, stole and unspecified amount of cash, electronics and some other property and then fled, police said. Details were not provided.

Brown's aunt told police at the scene that she opened the door to the house after hearing a "commotion" outside and that three men forced their way inside and locked her in a closet. No arrests have been made and no physical descriptions of them were provided to police.

"This is a secluded home on a hillside,"  LAPD Lt. Kirk Kelley told reporters. "We're trying to see if there was any video that may have picked up the suspects."

He said police notified Brown of the robbery. The R&B star, who was at a pre-ESPYS and "Liquor" single release party at a Hollywood nightclub on Tuesday night, arrived around 2:55 a.m. on Wednesday with an entourage and left later that early morning.

In May, a woman was accused of breaking into a home Brown was renting about 17 miles away. The singer said he found her naked in his bed after he returned home from Las Vegas. She was arrested on suspicion of first-degree residential burglary, stalking and vandalism. She has pleaded not guilty. It is unclear if both incidents are related.
