Who needs the radio when you have Rod Stewart in the car to put on a live concert?

James Corden invited the legendary rock star to join him in his favorite segment, Carpool Karaoke, and they sang along to some of Stewart's classic tunes as The Late Late Show host turned them on. Beginning with "The First Cut Is the Deepest," Stewart and Corden sang and chatted about the musician's famous past and his favorite "rock 'n roll moments."

"There's been so many," Stewart dished. "Just drinking and a shagging and a drinking and a shagging. Smashing up hotel rooms."

"What is it about bands in hotels that you go, 'Let's throw the TV out the window?'" Corden asked.

Suddenly overcome by the music's power, both Stewart and Corden launched into some serious air guitar solos, which only furthered the image of Stewart trashing hotel rooms LOL.

He confessed he and his bands were actually "banned" from Holiday Inns, "so we used to check in as Fleetwood Mac." He's got jokes!

But when A$AP Rocky's hit song, "Everyday," which features Stewart and Miguel, came on the radio, the rapper popped out of the backseat for a surprise cameo! He and Stewart performed the song as Corden gushed at the moment that was happening before his eyes.

"I don't know if I've ever felt as cool as I do in this moment in my life right now," said Corden. "I genuinely don't. To be in a car, in L.A., with Rod Stewart and A$AP Rocky— this is the greatest thing I've ever done."

As quickly as the song started, it ended. The rapper went back into hiding in the rear of the car.

"He's a lovely bloke, isn't he?" Stewart said of Rocky.

"I don't know. I've never met him," Corden joked.

Stewart eventually dished on how he lost his virginity and the song it inspired, so watch the video above to find out all about it!
