Attending the Public School runway show at New York Men's Fashion Week today, the A-list actress and her Miami Heat husband opened up exclusively to E! News about all things fashion. And for starters, it turns out Gabrielle isn't the bigger fashionista in this marriage. Nope, that would be Dwyane!
As a good CFDA Men's Fashion week ambassador, Dwyane's got a closet well suited for the role, Gabrielle confirmed. "[His closet] kills my closet. His closet looks like Esquire and GQ. Mine looks like J.Crew and Gap ads," she dished of her husband's en pointe wardrobe. "He built a shoe vault in our home. I built a sports bar. It says something about his fashion!"
While the duo are admittedly huge fans of Public School, that's not the only runway pit stop on their men's fashion week tour. They're is set to attend a whooping six shows today before jetting off to China for a summer vacation later this week.
For the kickoff of New York men's fashion week last night, the chic pair were ultra-fierce in coordinating ensembles with Gabrielle in a breezy printed Baja East crop top ensemble and Dwyane in a tailored blazer with jeans and a dapper hat.
For the Public School show, both dressed in sharp ensembles by the designer, with the actress in an all-black blouse and quilted shorts pairing and her basketball star hubby in a printed sweater with hounds tooth print shorts.
When asked who designed her bold metallic sandal heels, the actress drew a blank. But not to worry—Dwyane was there to save the day." Shoes are Giuseppe [Zanotti]!" he chimed in, as Gabrielle giggled.
"Like I said—I've got a sports bar and he's got a shoe vault," she quipped.
