The 16-year-old beauty (younger sister of style maven Nicole Richie and daughter of legendary crooner Lionel Richie) stars in a series of sprightly ads showcasing printed crop tops, leather skirts and sleek body-con dresses from Madge's line, which is sold exclusively at Macy's.
Sofia took to Instagram with a shot from the campaign, writing, "It's such an honor for me to announce that I'm the new face of Madonna and Lola's Material Girl! Can't wait to show you the awesome ads we created in NYC," alongside the snap.
Sofia signed with Select Model Management back in December, and has since landed two magazine covers, fronting the May issue of Popular and July issue of ASOS magazine. (Yep, this Material Girl's on fire!)
Shot in The Jane Hotel in New York City, these latest ads show Richie having her cake and, well, eating it too.
The line, a joint collaboration from Madonna and daughter Lourdes (Lola) Leon, launched at Macy's in 2010. Sofia, meanwhile, has a fan in the form of the Material Girl herself, who gushed about Sofia in a statement about the new campaign: "Sofia Richie perfectly embodies the style and spirit of Material Girl," she said.
"Coming from an artistic family, self-expression is in our blood. I love Sofia's style and energy, and look forward to collaborating with her," Lola added.
