Did Rickey Smiley find his new co-host?

The interwebs have been buzzing that The Rickey Smiley Morning Show has brought on rapper and guest co-host Da Brat to officially replace former co-host, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan, who was on the show for about a year before parting ways last week.

However, it seems like the show is still feelin' her out. The rep for the syndicated radio broadcast, which is produced in downtown Atlanta, tells E! News, "Da Brat has been a long-time friend of the Rick Smiley Morning Show. She's currently sitting in and having fun with the crew informing, inspiring and entertaining our listeners."

Without being completely clear about whether he's talking full-time or just as a guest, Smiley touched on the news via Twitter when responding to a listener who voiced that she wasn't feeling Da Brat's vibe on the show:

Jordan also took to Twitter today, and without indulging too much on the situation, touched on the fact that she no longer has to wake up before the sun:

Last year, Jordan took over for the popular Ebony Steele, who had been with Smiley for seven years but was also released from duties without explanation.

E! News learned the reality star was leaving the radio show shortly after finding out that she will not be returning full-time for The Real Housewives of Atlanta's upcoming eighth season, either.

In a recent statement posted to her Facebook page, Jordan explained why she opted to leave her gig at Rickey Smiley. "There are a whole lot of things I want to do that will better showcase my talents, personality, intelligence and wittiness and I'm ready to pursue them!" the 42-year-old beauty wrote.

Smiley also offered kind parting words to his co-host on Twitter. "Our girl Claudia Jordan is moving on after a year on 'The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,' and we will miss her. Just want to thank her for her time with us and we wish her nothing but the best," he wrote.
