Batman has arrived!

Ben Affleck made his first public post-split appearance at 2015 Comic-Con for the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice panel during Warner Bros. presentation. He was joined onstage by costars Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), along with Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and director Zack Snyder to talk about the DC movie hitting theaters in March of 2016.

Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their breakup only a few weeks ago, and a bulked-up Ben did show a little bit of weariness onstage, but he perked up while talking with moderator Aisha Tyler about playing the iconic character that does battle against Superman.

"I have this vision for [Batman], he's old, he's kind of a burnout," Affleck explained about Snyder's pitch to him, causing the crowd to laugh.

He added later: "The whole idea of wealth and power, and how power engenders fear made it feel real to me. I'm even more proud to be a part of that."

Affleck also revealed that he got very important advice from the previous Batman, Christian Bale.

"Make sure you can piss in that suit," said Affleck, imitating Bale's accent.

The trailer shown at Comic-Con for Batman v Superman revealed that Batman was present during the battle of Metropolis from Man of Steel, so he saw the destruction caused by the fight and even had to rescue civilians from the danger. And that's what starts the war between the two superheroes.

"We've done stuff in Man of Steel to launch this conflict," Snyder said. "We put Gotham and Metropolis right next to each other. It makes sense for us in our story that they're kind of sister cities across a big bay, it's like Oakland and San Francisco."

Gal Gadot kicking ass as Wonder Woman in the trailer got a huge reaction from the crowd, and she showed incredible enthusiasm while talking about taking on the role.

"I've been given a huge opportunity to show this strong beautiful side of women. She has the strength of a superhero but at the same time she's loving, sophisticated and has a lot of emotional intelligence," said Gadot. "I feel very privileged to bring Wonder Woman back to life and I can't wait to celebrate that with you!"

Before the Batman v Superman cast came out, Suicide Squad director David Ayer brought his own cast out and got the crowd pumped before showing a trailer.

"We were filming last night, but we had to come in to report to Hall H, because you guys run this s--t," he told fans. "We're making this movie for you. It's all about canon, it's all about being true to the source material. You know what you want and we're going to give it to you."
