Isaiah Michael Fisher's parents got in a workout together Thursday morning, but it looks like mom might have been taking this post-baby fitness sesh a little more seriously than dad!
The "Little Toy Guns" singer, 32, Instagrammed a makeup-free selfie with her NHL star hubby, 35, that showed the twosome on what appeared to be in-home stationary bikes. Carrie held up a rocker symbol while Mike was either a) resting between sets, or possibly b) really into a set—you can be the judge of that one.
Either way, this new mama was just glad to be exercising alongside her man! "The couple that slays together...stays together," she captioned the shot. "Working out is always better with a partner! #StayThePath"
Exercise played a big role in Carrie's post-baby bod snapping back to its pre-pregnancy self so quickly! She also "did everything I could to try and make smart choices" while she was expecting, she told E! News last month at the CMT Music Awards.
"And if I couldn't really like work out, work out, I'd go walk, and I just tried to stay active," she explained.
After giving birth to her baby boy in February, Carrie "couldn't work out for a few weeks because I ended up having to have a cesarean," she explained. Because she couldn't hit the gym, the American Idol alum "kind of alter(ed) my diet," she said.
Now, Carrie's flexible when it comes to getting in a workout! "I make it happen where I can, when I can pretty much," she told E! News.
That seems to be working for her, and it's extra nice that she can sneak in some quality time with Isaiah's daddy when breaking a sweat, too!
