Baby Dilly is just three weeks old and is already in party mode!

Family, friends and neighbors of the 19 Kids and Counting stars and new parents Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard gathered at an Arkansas church on Tuesday to celebrate the birth of their newborn son, Israel David Dillard, complete with tasty snacks, E! News has learned.

The happy couple and their child, who was given the nickname "Baby Dilly" months before he was born on April 6, were joined by her parents, a "super perky" Michelle Duggar, 48, and Jim Bob Duggar, 49, Derick's mother Cathy Dillard, 58, and brother Daniel Dillard, 24, several of Jill's 18 siblings, including Jana Duggar, 25, Jinger Duggar, 21 and expecting couple Jessa Duggar, 22, and husband Ben Seewald, 19, and about 30 other well-wishers from their community at the "Sip, Snack and See" event.

"Michele opened up the event greeting everyone and Derick's brother said a prayer," a source told E! News. "Then everyone lined up to see the new baby Dilly."

"People could take photos of the baby but no one except family held him," the source added. "The mood was upbeat and everyone seemed very excited to meet and see the newest member of the Duggar family."

Several of the younger Duggars stayed with their dad in the back because they had the "sniffles," a source told E! News.

Also spotted: Cousin Amy Duggar, who also appears on 19 Kids and Counting, and her new boyfriend. She posted a photo of herself with her beau and Jill's 13-year-old brother James on her Instagram page on Tuesday, although it is unclear when and where it was taken.

Guests were encouraged to bring snacks. Among the dishes spotted was a cake with white fondant and colorful icing, with the words "Welcome Baby Dilly" written on it, surrounded by what appeared to be Skittles. Also seen: Chocolate-covered strawberries and grapes with "Israel David Dillard" written on them. Guests also brought gifts and clothes for the baby.

Jill, 23, sat the entire time and Derick, 26, often got up and allowed people to take photos of the baby, who was swaddled in a blanket and sucked on a pacifier.

"He got fussy and Great Grandmother Dugger held him and put a pacifier in his mouth," the source told E! News.

The official Duggar family Instagram page on Wednesday featured a photo of the doting dad with his brother and his baby son.

"You can tell Derrick is a very hands on dad. Derrick smiled the whole time," the source told E! News. "You can see how happy they are. He would sit down and talk to Jill. He was very attentive to her. She seemed sort of tired and then he would show the baby off to people as they came in. He seemed to be enjoying showing off his son."

Meanwhile, Jessa, 22, and her husband, 19, who revealed her pregnancy last week, packed on the PDA.

"They were together almost the whole time. She was very touchy. They held hands. She kissed him and he sat at a table reading the bible."

The party was filmed for the family's reality show and was held a week before a two-hour 19 Kids and Counting special that will focus on Jill's 70(!)-hour labor and birth of her and Derick's son. The show airs on May 5 at 7 p.m., an hour after the series' regularly scheduled weekly episode. Watch a sneak peek below.
