Christine Booth must be one of the cutest, most confused children on TV.
While her loving parents, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel), are definitely meant to be, they've certainly got some very differing opinions on how and when to teach their 4 year-old about human anatomy. That's normally the first thing new parents decide on, right?!
In the adorable clip above, Booth is not so thrilled to hear that Christine sees his Mickey Mouse pancake as a human pelvic bone instead of a famous cartoon mouse, while Brennan is naturally very into it.
"Mommy and me anatomy," he sneers. "Isn't that fun?"
He's not the only one with something to balk at, however, once Christine starts singing the bone song she learned in school. It's the same one we all learned in school, and apparently it gave us all inaccurate information.
"There's no such thing as the chest bone!" Brennan cries, and we start to rethink everything we've ever known.
It's not long before a call comes in about a body, pulling Booth and Brennan away from their breakfast, but this scene is not the end of the episode's bone references. In honor of the series 206th episode (!), this week's Bones will include each and every one of the 206 bones in the human body.
We counted between 10 and 16 bones in this clip alone, depending on how much of that bone song is actually correct. We're not entirely sure, because we are not scientists.
