If you ever get the opportunity to work with Jessica Alba in the business world, chances are things may not be all peaches and cream.

Instead, the woman responsible for building a billion-dollar business empire admits she can get a little tough as manager.

"Sometimes, I'm a little more iron fist than velvet glove. I'm straight to the point. I've made people cry," Alba revealed in the May issue of MORE magazine. "I have to say, ‘This isn't personal. This is what needs to get done and it's just as simple as that. And… we're not crying anymore.'"

She continued, "I'm learning to tone myself down."

In her defense, the Honest Company continues to blossom into a highly successful eco-friendly brand. In fact, paint, skin care, hair care, mattresses, air filters and even organic tampons are in the works.

While expanding her business, the magazine had to wonder if Alba ever finds herself questioning her career decisions while finding balance between work and family.

"You don't really know how [your career] is affecting [your kids] until they're adults and they say, ‘You ruined my life, Mom!'" she shared. "Maybe they want me to be a stay-at-home mother who bakes chocolate-chip muffins all day."

But on second thought, she continued: "Nah. I'd probably want to start a chocolate-chip muffin company. Ya know?"

Today, Alba is more than happy with her two children, husband and a bustling career both on and off the big screen. And while Alba's mom calls her daughter "a workaholic control freak" in the office, she's also a happy control freak.

"Content is good because I wasn't always," Mrs. Cash Warren admitted. "I was kind of unsatisfied and angsty. It's nice shedding the angst."
