InstagramIt has been a whirlwind year for Lea Michele!
She wrapped Glee and is now set to star in Ryan Murphy's new show, Scream Queens, but she also can celebrate the fact that it has been one year since she met her now-boyfriend Matthew Paetz. She took to Instagram Sunday to celebrate the milestone, sharing a picture of herself with Paetz and two other friends eating dinner.
"Dinner last night with these lovely folks! Celebrating one year since @hannahluxdavis directed me in my video On My Way! #TimeFlies #BestFriends ❤," she captioned the pic.
But as fans know, Michele met Paetz onset while filming her video for "On My Way." She also Instagrammed a cute couple's pic of herself and Paetz after the group shot, writing, "This guys pretty great too... ❤." Could they be any cuter?!
The New Year's Eve actress and her boyfriend became serious quickly after E! News revealed she had "really strong feelings" for the aspiring actor and thought he was "amazing." They proved their love was more than just a summer fling after Paetz moved in with the New Year's Eve actress!
An insider told E! News at the time that their co-habitation "made sense" because "they spend so much time with one another. He treats her like a queen." They have only gotten closer since then, uploading adorable pictures of themselves hiking and doing other romantic activities together.
They also took their love one step further by getting inked together. No, they didn't get matching tats, but the mere fact that they went together has to mean something! Once again she Instagrammed their outing, revealing her small finger got inked while he went for something larger on his arm.
Clearly she and Paetz couldn't be happier, which is so nice to see because Michele certainly has endured a lot over the past few years, having tragically lost boyfriend Cory Monteith. Although he is gone, she hasn't forgotten him. After filming Glee's final episode, Michele revealed that she took his football jersey as a memento.
"One last thing," she wrote with a snapshot of herself carrying home Monteith's famous football jersey.
