Christina Aguilera just went country, y'all!

The pop diva known for massive hits including "Fighter," "Beautiful" and "Aint No Other Man" decided to tone things down with a performance of "Shotgun" Sunday night at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

While wearing a white cleavage-barring dress with a denim jacket, The Voice coach was still able to demonstrate her impressive vocals and powerful sound.

"My first time at ACMs!" she tweeted just hours before showtime. "Excited to perform with @RascalFlatts & sing Shotgun from #Nashville."

She wasn't done just yet! Aguilera then transitioned into a performance of Rascal Flatt's hit single "Riot."

"We're going to do some of her song, then go into 'Riot,'" bassist Jay DeMarcus teased to USA Today just days before the big show. "It's going to be a nice, seamless transition and a really powerful performance."

Mission accomplished!

"Shotgun" was originally written for Aguilera's character on Nashville, where she will soon be playing Jade St. John, a pop star taking a shot at the country market in a three-episode story arc.

"We are putting a different spin on the song for the awards," she added. "But it's a quiet, beautiful song about true love that lasts a lifetime."
