The Fall Out Boy musicians get playful and political in their new music video "Uma Thurman."
The premise of the clip, released on Friday on YouTube, is the hijinks that ensure when a girl, Sarah, wins a contest to become an assistant to the band, which is a whole lot of more fun than it sounds.
In addition to serving the guys food and coffee, she gets to walk a zebra, play paintball, use a weird indoor skydiving machine, ride in a dune buggy and on a mechanical bull and decorate lead singer Patrick Stump with live ducklings and chicks.
the intent of the uma video is to deliver fly on the wall look into our life backstage & at home only on steroids #FOBUmaThurman

The clip features cameos by other stars, such as Big Sean, and Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie and also pays tribute to the real Uma Thurman.
Sample lyrics: "She wants to dance like Uma Thurman / Bury me 'til I confess / She wants to dance like Uma Thurman / And I can't get you out of my head."
The video gets political at the end: Sarah is tasked with painting the word "Uma" twice in red paint on a tank bearing two American flags, riding it and literally steamrolling a pickup truck bearings the words "Article 1, Section 36.03," which is from Alabama's constitution and bars same-sex marriage licenses from being issued in the state.
"Uma Thurman" samples the theme song of the '60s sitcom The Munsters and is featured on Fall Out Boy's new album American Beauty/American Psycho, which was released in January.
and nothing but love to @brendanvalencia when we asked if we could smash stuff w/ a tank in the UMA video and he actually got us a tank.
