Just do it. You'll be better for it.
Nike has launched a new initiative, #BetterForIt, to inspire women everywhere to be more active, take on new challenges and conquer personal goals—whatever they may be. Described as "more than just a hashtag," the athletic company wants women to embrace fitness and sports in the ultimate "rallying cry."
Whether it's completing one more pushup or running your first half-marathon, Nike wants #BetterForIt to help women reach new heights in their athletic endeavors. "Every athlete has goals. And Nike is the link between you and your aspirations," said Amy Montagne, VP/GM of Nike Women and Global Women's Training in a statement on Nike's website.
It continues, "We provide more than encouragement—with initiatives like #betterforit, Nike provides the tools for women to expand their personal athletic potential."
The new campaign was headlined by a series of short films that debuted April 12. One called "Inner Thoughts" features several different women participating in yoga, spinning, weight lifting and running and focuses on what they're thinking while doing their strenuous activities. And they are, without a doubt, thinking what we all focus on while suffering through workouts.
