MYVR/AKM-GSIIs that you, Ryan Reynolds?!
The 38-year-old actor stepped out on the set of his upcoming superhero movie Deadpool the other day looking completely and shockingly unrecognizable.
Blake Lively's normally hunky other half was snapped sporting burns and scars all over his face (his character Wade Wilson is known in the Marvel world for being disfigured). The movie makeup looked gruesomely realistic as Reynolds walked around set with the reddish makeup on and no eyebrows. Meanwhile, Reynolds tried to cover up in a jacket with the hood up over his head. Needless to say, it's scary seeing this hottie look so injured!
In addition to his scary makeup, Reynolds was also photographed filming scenes for Deadpool in his head-to-toe red and black anti-hero suit. Reynold's face was completely covered in his red mask as he acted alongside co-star Brianna Hildebrand. Not to mention Reynolds' skintight suit was hugging him in all the right places (those muscles!).
The upcoming Deadpool movie follows the story of "a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary [who] is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers," according to IMDB.
Last month, Reynolds gave fans the first look at him in the Deadpool costume with a silly Twitter pic. He also previously said of his character, "I'm gonna have a messed up face and you may see some flashbacks of Wade earlier in his life. But primarily what you see is what you get in the comics and that's the goal."
